To help you more quickly evaluate our software, we have prepared two sample data files. The accounting file (Sample.FAR) contains an inventory and transactions for a typical estate. The FAR extension on the file name indicates that it is a GEMAcct file.

The 706 file (Sample.FET) is the estate tax return which accompanies the estate accounting. It includes an interrelated calculation and an IRC §2032A election. The FET extension on the file name indicates that it is a GEM706 file.

You should download the files to your hard drive and then access them from within GEMS. Please remember where you stored the files.
