I have to tell you that you have answered my prayers! I downloaded the demo version of the 706 and accounting program today and I am thrilled. I am still using FATE, because I have not found another fiduciary accounting program that comes close to the ease of use and reporting content of it. I had to give up FET several years ago, obviously because of the constant changes in the unified credit and tax law.

Hawaii Estate Tax Returns
The Hawaii state module permits you to prepare the Hawaii estate tax return, Form M-6, for residents, non-residents, and non-resident aliens. You enter most of the information required to complete the Hawaii return in GEM706. However, GEM706-HI also gives you the flexibility to enter information required only on the Hawaii return.
